The Leadership Development Framework (LDF) & the Self-Authoring journey with Harthill Consultancy Ltd
This event offers you the opportunity to develop an understanding of how engagement with the LDF at a personal and professional level can enable you to create and hold more transformative space for clients within your coaching practice.
This is an interactive and provocative session where Harthill will introduce you to the concept of the Leadership Development Framework and its role within the Self-Authoring journey. For us this journey started with asking ourselves:
- What is the world asking of us as coaches at the moment?
- What are you currently doing to address what the world is asking of us as coaches at the moment?
- What is vertical development, why the LDF and how might it address what the world is asking of us?
We will discuss how this journey has helped enable our clients to build their capability and capacity to be more at ease and deal more effectively with complex situations. This is an important part of our coaching stance in a world of increasing uncertainty and complexity.
Our inquiry explored some of the following:
- If our meaning making underpins everything we do, why do we let other people dictate how we make meaning?
- Who or what shapes and polishes our and our clients’ mental models?
- How might this affect us in the workplace…. Around time? Around energy? Around innovation?
Re-engaging with our own stories has involved seeing them through fresh perspectives and helping our clients to do the same. What we have learned has given deeper understandings of polarities such as shadow & light and both/and; and how these affect our clients.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you.
