GCG Springtime Walk with Richard Fox
May 3 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Richard is kindly arranging another GCG walk.
This is a wonderful, easy circular walk in the beautiful countryside to the south and west of Shere village.
We meet at 09.20 for a 09.30 start in the large public car park off Upper Street at Shere’s Recreation Ground.
We will have time to visit the site where the 14th century Anchoress of Shere lived, enjoy the ancient avenues of horse chestnut trees, the grounds of Albury Park with its church of Saxon origins, the old half-timbered houses in Shere and be back in the village by 12.00 for coffee at the award-winning Dabbling Duck tea rooms and then possibly some retail therapy.
Please book to go on this walk in the usual way. Richard 07774 988847.
