Join us for our first online session where Julia Philpott will bring her session to us via Zoom.

What do we mean by resilience? What specifically do we mean by emotional resilience? How do we develop resilience in our clients? What are our own resilience resources?

These are just some of the questions we will be exploring in this interactive and thought-provoking session on Coaching for Emotional Resilience.

This session will help coaches explore the topic of emotional resilience and work with a specific model for regulating emotional responses, both in themselves and their clients. At the end of the session, participants will have:

• Determined what resilience means in the context of the modern workplace

• Explored the concept of emotional resilience

• Practiced using a model for building emotional resilience

• Committed to make one change in their coaching practice in relation to managing emotions

We will discuss how the increased focus on wellbeing in the workplace has drawn resilience into the spotlight. Individuals are increasingly being expected to be aware of and manage their own resilience levels (with or without help from the organisation). We will explore how both our emotions and our thought processes are involved in our ability to manage our levels of resilience. We will investigate ‘hot’ and ‘cold’ emotions and how we can develop self-awareness and self-management around these. This will be an interactive virtual session with lots of opportunity to discuss and practice ideas. The Zoom meeting ID and password will be emailed to you once you have registered on Eventbrite ticketing.
