As coaches, we like to be open and honest with our clients. However, even with the best of intentions, we cannot easily avoid unconscious bias -through race, culture, environment and much more. And at a deep level, we have 'defaults' that spring into action even as we seek to connect with our clients. These unconscious processes colour our connection, and - being unconscious - there's no way that we can be aware of them all.

In the session we'll explore the ways in which we can diminish unconscious bias - through becoming more familiar with our own defaults, through catching glimpses of the ways in which we compensate for all the little differences and through deeper awareness of our own beliefs and internal dialogue - thus opening the way for a deeper and more mindful connection.
